The Parent Leadership Initiative (PLI) provides courses that train Latino parents to become advocates for their children’s academic success by improving communication in the home, strengthening involvement in schools, and promoting family literacy. Courses are held in partnership with Arlington Public Schools. This program has trained 879 Latino parents since it began in 2004.

Courses are open to all Latino parents. While courses are held free of charge, parents will be asked to participate in a fundraiser. Dates and locations vary. You can register in person or online under Online Registration.
